WHAT IS THE GIVE A GHAF TREE PLANTING PROGRAMME?

“There is a popular saying that death will not visit a man, even at the time of a famine, if he has a Ghaf, a goat and a camel, since the three together will sustain a man even under the most trying conditions.” – unknown

In the early 1970s, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the United Arab Emirates, embarked on a programme of “greening‟ the desert.
In 2010, Goumbook decided to follow the vision of the country’s Leadership and to raise awareness on the Living Desert and the multitude of species growing naturally in it such as the Ghaf tree, the UAE National Tree, also named the Union Tree by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
The Give a Ghaf tree planting programme was officially launched in 2011 by Goumbook to raise public awareness about the Ghaf tree and its values, while encouraging people to plant indigenous trees and save water.

NetGreen.Live Co-Founder Nisreen Shadad brought this wonderful and noble “Give Ghaf” initiative to Privity FZ LLE‘s attention. NetGreen.Live will be supporting Privity FZ LLE in celebrating with our UAE clients, employees, and partners with thoughtful and impactful gifts.

As part of the “Give Ghaf” Initiative, here’s what they’ve prepared for Privity FZ LLE:

✔️ Ghaf Seedlings: Support your CSR profile in alignment with UAE Vision 2030.

✔️ Build trust with Tracking: 5 unique vouchers will be activated on the NetGreen platform, enabling tracking of each planted seedling.

✔️ Certificates of Recognition: 5 personalized certificates to honor your recipients.

✔️ Plantation Date: To be confirmed by the nursery in the coming weeks, as it depends on their planting schedule.

✔️ Proof of Plantation: A photograph of the potted seedlings will be provided, complete with labels showing the client’s name and planting date.

Please join Privity FZ LLE, NetGreen.Live and Goumbook in honouring the legacy and vision of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the founding father of the United Arab Emirates by supporting the “Give Ghaf” initiative.

Eid Al Etihad Mubarak and may the Almighty Bless the hashtagUAE on their 53rd National Day Celebrations.
