I Am Pleased To Announce That UAPE And XDS DATACENTRES Have Qualified For COP30 Funding Of $23M…

I am pleased to announce that UAPE and XDS DATACENTRES have qualified for COP30 funding of $23M, aimed at developing green datacentres powered by floating solar. This milestone marks the launch of Brazil’s first Immersion-Cooled Floating Solar DataHub in Pecém, integrating Ocean Sun FPV, Windey BESS, GRC immersion cooling, Shell dielectric fluid, and a Digital Twin developed with UFC.
With the funding approved, XDS is moving into the delivery and commercialization phase, which includes:
– Tier III datacentre design
– Integrating immersion cooling, BESS, and FPV into a unified energy-sovereign architecture
– Leading procurement of NVIDIA GPU clusters, Cisco/Dell networking, and immersion-ready systems
– Launching pre-lease sales for ERP hosting, GPUaaS, and sovereign cloud workloads
– Preparing the expansion roadmap for larger 26MW sites across Rio, São Paulo, and Santa Catarina
We are proud to collaborate with exceptional partners: Uapê, Sansuy-Viniartefatos, MPE Engenharia, Windey, Ocean Sun, GRC, Shell, Cisco, and Universidade Federal do Ceará.
This is a significant step forward for sustainable, sovereign high-density computing ahead of COP30.
Great work by the wider team led by XDS International Development Manager Andy Merris. The hard work now begins.
